PENERAPAN METODE SIMA’I DAN METODE TAKRIR DALAM PENGUASAAN TAHFIZH AL-QUR’AN DI RUMAH TAHFIZH AL-A’RAF LIMAU MANIS

Mastering Qur’anic memorization requires instructional methods that not only facilitate the memorization process but also support the retention of memorized verses over time. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the sima’i and takrir methods in Qur’anic memorization mastery at Rumah Tahfizh Al-A’raf Limau Manis. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving the head of the institution, tahfizh teachers, and students as research informants. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation and were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model. The findings reveal that the sima’i method assists students in acquiring accurate recitation through repeated listening and imitation of the teacher’s recitation, while the takrir method strengthens and maintains memorization through structured muraja’ah activities. The integration of these two methods contributed to improvements in memorization fluency, accuracy of tajwid, and students’ ability to retain memorized verses. The study also found that teacher competence, student motivation, parental support, and a conducive learning environment were important factors supporting the success of Qur’anic memorization learning. These findings suggest that the combination of sima’i and takrir methods can serve as an effective instructional model for improving the quality and sustainability of Qur’anic memorization in non-formal Islamic educational institutions.
