This research is driven by the phenomenon of global competition which requires organizations to possess high-quality human resources, yet recruitment and selection processes often overlook the work motivation of prospective employees. The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of recruitment and selection, both partially and simultaneously, on employee work motivation. The research methodology employs a systematic literature review with content analysis techniques applied to various relevant empirical and conceptual articles. The findings indicate that transparent recruitment processes and objective, competency-based selection have a positive and significant impact on enhancing work motivation. Simultaneously, the effective integration of recruitment and selection is proven to be a crucial factor in creating person-job fit, which fosters enthusiasm, commitment, and optimal employee performance in supporting the achievement of organizational goals.
