PENGUATAN BUDAYA TERTIB PERATURAN MELALUI KEGIATAN KEDISIPLINAN SANTRI MADRASAH ALIYAH: STUDI KASUS DI PONDOK PESANTREN AL-FATTAHIYYAH TULUNGAGUNG

Abstract

This case study describes the form of coaching and implementation of disciplinary activities of Madrasah Aliyah students in an effort to strengthen the culture of order of madrasah regulations at the Al-Fattahiyyah Tulungagung Islamic Boarding School, as well as identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. Data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and validated using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study show that strengthening the orderly culture of madrasas is carried out through various discipline activities that are carried out consistently, such as habituation of time discipline, adherence to discipline, dress discipline, learning order, and the implementation of congregational worship. Supervision is carried out by teachers and the student field, and is supported by the application of the point system as a form of controlling violations that are educational. Supporting factors include a religious pesantren environment, teacher examples, cooperation with madrasah residents, and student awareness. The inhibiting factors are the low awareness of some students, peer influence, lack of parental support, and differences in students' character. Overall, disciplinary activities play an important role in forming an orderly culture through habituation, supervision, and enforcement of rules in a sustainable manner. This research contributes in the form of a conceptual model of strengthening an orderly culture based on habituation, supervision, exemplary, and a point system that can be a reference in the development of discipline management in pesantren-based madrasas.
