The values of compassion, empathy, and care serve as the main pillars in all learning activities. This article examines rahmah-oriented education from the perspective of prophetic educational hadith (hadith tarbawi), emphasizing the importance of empathy and compassion in the relationship between educators and learners. The study employs a literature review method by analyzing various hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as well as scholarly works related to Islamic education and humanitarian values. The findings reveal that rahmah constitutes an essential foundation in educational practice. This principle is manifested through gentleness, attentiveness, respect for differences, and a humanistic approach in guiding students. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) stated in a hadith narrated by Tirmidhi that showing mercy to those on earth will bring mercy from the heavens. Additionally, a hadith narrated by Ahmad and Tirmidhi affirms that one is not among his followers if they do not show compassion to the young and respect to the elderly. These narrations reinforce that compassion is a fundamental principle in building harmonious educational relationships. In conclusion, rahmah-oriented education not only develops intellectual capacity but also shapes character, strengthens social empathy, and nurtures students’ emotional maturity. Integrating the value of rahmah is crucial amid modern education systems that tend to prioritize cognitive achievement and academic competition.
2026-04-19T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 syifa Adilla, Syifaul Karima, A Gani, Guntur Cahaya Kusuma, Amirudin amirudinhttps://www.ejournal.iainurru.ac.id/index.php/raudhah/article/view/1127MODEL DESAIN PEMBELAJARAN ASSURE DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI SMP2026-03-11T11:32:20+00:00Ahmad Sayyidiman Hamidalloh02040825045@student.uinsa.ac.idMuhammad Syafrani Surya Permadi02040825049@student.uinsa.ac.idIrma Sorayairmasoraya@uinsa.ac.id
Learning design is a crucial component of the educational process because it determines the quality of students' learning experiences. One learning design model widely used in media-based learning planning is the ASSURE model. This article aims to examine the ASSURE development model, including development steps, model syntax analysis, and evaluation of its application in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning design in junior high schools (SMP). This research uses a qualitative approach with library research. Data sources were obtained from books, scientific articles, and academic documents related to learning design and the ASSURE model. The study results indicate that the ASSURE model has six main stages: Analyze Learners, State Objectives, Select Methods, Media and Materials, Utilize Media and Materials, Require Learner Participation, and Evaluate and Revise. This model syntax provides a systematic framework for teachers in designing learning that is oriented towards student characteristics and the use of learning media. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in junior high schools, the ASSURE model can help teachers design more contextual, participatory, and effective learning in instilling Islamic values. To date, these three fields have often been studied separately, thus lacking a comprehensive understanding of the epistemological and social dynamics of Islamic education. This research aims to analyze the historical interrelationships, scientific developments, and social structures that shape Islamic educational practices and their implications for educational system reform. The research employed a qualitative approach with a library study design and historical-sociological analysis. Data were obtained through a review of classical and contemporary documents and analyzed using interpretive and comparative approaches to identify patterns of development and change. The results show that Islamic education develops through the interaction between classical scientific traditions, social dynamics, and responses to modernity. The integration of historical and sociological perspectives allows mapping of epistemic transformations from a traditional transmission model to a dialogical and contextual model. This research contributes to strengthening the integrative theoretical framework of Islamic education and provides practical implications for curriculum development, educational policies, and learning strategies that are responsive to social change and scientific development.
2026-05-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Eko Purnomo, Abdullah Idi, Karoma, Yulia Tri Samihahttps://www.ejournal.iainurru.ac.id/index.php/raudhah/article/view/1146INTEGRASI WAHYU DAN AKAL SEBAGAI BASIS EPISTEMOLOGI ILMU DALAM ISLAM2026-04-23T03:13:30+00:00Muhammad Syafiimuhammadsafii1173@gmail.comBaharuddin Baharuddinbaharmbojo51@gmail.comFaisal Faisallatiffaisal1974@gmail.comLuthfiyah Luthfiyahluthfiyahinarizki@gmail.com
Modern epistemology faces a crisis due to the dominance of secular approaches that tend to separate knowledge from revealed values. This condition creates a dichotomy between science and religion and weakens the moral foundation of knowledge development. This study aims to analyze the integration of revelation and reason in Islamic epistemology by referring to the Qur'an and the Sunnah as the primary sources of knowledge. This research employs a qualitative method through library research using a philosophical-normative approach. Data are derived from primary sources, namely the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as relevant scholarly literature, and analyzed using descriptive-critical content analysis. The findings reveal that Islamic epistemology is constructed upon a harmonious integration of revelation and reason, where revelation serves as the ultimate source of truth, while reason functions as an instrument to understand and develop knowledge. This integration forms a comprehensive and non-dichotomous paradigm of knowledge. Therefore, the Qur'an and the Sunnah serve as the fundamental foundation of knowledge construction in Islam.
2026-05-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Muhammad Syafii, Baharuddin Baharuddin, Faisal Faisal, Luthfiyah Luthfiyahhttps://www.ejournal.iainurru.ac.id/index.php/raudhah/article/view/1122PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PENYUSUNAN INSTRUMEN BERPIKIR KRITIS BERBASIS NILAI MULTIKULTURAL BAGI GURU SEJARAH 2026-03-09T03:30:09+00:00Slamet Slametslamet.doktor@gmail.comRaden Soelistijantoradensulistiyanto@gmail.comFadhia Zahrani Muthiafhadiafhadia64@gmail.comCintiyah Tri Asih cintiyahasih@gmail.com
Indonesia is a multicultural nation-state, characterized by diverse ethnic groups, languages, religions, cultures, traditions, and regional identities. The research design employed Research and Development (R&D) using the Borg and Gall model consisting of ten steps, which were simplified into three stages: (1) preliminary study; (2) design development and evaluation stage; and (3) product effectiveness testing stage. The research subjects consisted of 50 junior high school and senior/vocational high school history teachers. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, while data analysis applied both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The findings reveal that: (1) the training management model for instrument construction implemented so far has not adequately accommodated teachers’ needs and aspirations; (2) the design of the CTSMV instrument construction training management model was developed based on factual conditions, literature review, previous research findings, and training needs analysis; and (3) the evaluation results indicate that the CTSMV instrument construction training management model is feasible to be used and implemented by history teachers in the learning process. The model design represents a developed product validated by experts and practitioners, and it has been tested through individual trials involving five participants, group trials involving ten participants, and limited trials involving thirty-five participants, all of which produced good evaluation criteria.
